My Riddell rep told me the order we placed back in March for helmets this season is delayed because plastics and other materials are difficult to get, just like a lot of raw materials, due to covid. Placed our order in March and he said they might not arrive until mid-September!  And if I added any late orders right now they might not arrive at all. Anyone else having this issue? FTTF |

We are. Luckily it is for our middle school helmets and we have plenty. They were just replacements.
Supposedly it is some resin shortage that helps make the plastic in the helmets.

YES. I’m not the head coach so I don’t know what we are going to do. We can take back some the helmets the JH has but that leaves them without enough helmets. Riddell indicated we would not be getting helmets until October.

Just found out our new ones are shipping next week. We got lucky, but hopefully this means they are rolling out for everyone soon. |

I was told by our Riddell guy that you may not get a SpeedFlex until January, but he seemed pretty sure you would get your order of regular speed helmets before the season started.

I was told our helmets won’t be in until August. Luckily I still have 50+ available Speeds/Flexes to fit the kids.

FTTF Our Schutt order is delayed. We also got an email from Riddell that a fire had disrupted their ability to produce helmets and they were delayed....lots of schools are going to be affected. We are down to almost no helmets left---we need our order to get here by Monday. |
