I'm posting this here instead of the defensive section because I think that's useful for nob-defensive coaches who want to catch up on terminology but would never go near the defensive board. . It could be subtitled "Saban for Dummies". Even though I was a DC it's been four years since I've done serious research so this helped me catch up. Now I don't have to wonder what the hell Meg and Mod mean. I should mention that Coach Vass was a primary source. Oh yeah, it's behind a pay wall but well worth the price. They've done something really smart- scarfed up all the great writers who've been laid off from ESPN and local papers. theathletic.com/2613417/2021/05/28/understanding-the-basics-of-cover-7-part-1-past-three-super-bowl-winners-have-used-it/

Good stuff. Coaches who only want to learn one side of the ball probably aren't going to effective on either side. Like most everyone else, however, I hate a pay wall. I understand why they are there....I just hate them.

Just to plug The Athletic a bit, it's awesome. You have your fan geared sports articles but there are some really good in depth ones like this. If you're hesitant you can sometimes lock down a year subscription for a dollar a month when they run their promo.
