Has anyone tried training players with VR technology? Is it realistic and doable at the HS level? If not, ignore this wormhole
If you have done it, what have been snags and successes? Did it transfer to the field

I'm going to guess that since there have been zero responses in 19 months, no one has.

We was looking at using the Go Army Edge and the Oculus. Been in touch with GAE trying to make it more under center option friendly but not getting anywhere. Still may try to use it.

So……
I downloaded go army edge…..that was worth pulling this old thread up. No idea something like that existed.
Did you say you did use this in the oculus? Did it give a first person QB perspective?

my qb in the league did it at his college a few years back, pretty cool
I can see it as a thing in the future. Even at the hs level.

I’m read about pro teams getting into it several years back, but not much now.
I get the option appeal……throw game probably makes the most sense.

I saw a clinic presentation from a guy that used go army edge. He said they would do it as a team in a racquetball court.
It’s been a few years ago and we didn’t even have a camera for a tight angle so I didn’t pay attention very well because it seemed pretty far fetched.

One of the run and shoot guys has a version that isn’t the Go Army. They used it with the Roughnecks and at his HS stops.
I looked at using Go Army years back. At that time (not sure if it’s true now) you didn’t need an Oculus. You could do it with any type of VR reader. Google play even had a cardboard kit that worked.
