Looking at perhaps purchasing some new bumper plates for our weight room. I know these cost a good deal as I have shopped around some on the internet. Any suggestions on what offers the most bang for the buck?

Rogue HG 2.0 bumpers are the best I have ever used. Every other brand of bumpers I have used, the metal insert always comes loose. I've never had that happen with the HG 2.0s.

Has anyone found 100-lbs. bumper plates recently? They seem to be out of stock everywhere.

Has anyone found 100-lbs. bumper plates recently? They seem to be out of stock everywhere. As a guy who asked for 100lb metal plates for Christmas, what do you need 100lb bumpers for? Not trying to be snippy, genuinely curious. You have many kids cleaning 245 first set?

Unless you are the only program who uses your weight room, I wouldn't spend too much on them because they'll get trashed quickly when the slap dicks decide to drop them from above their heads and their "coaches" sit in the corner on their phones.

We have Intek bumpers and they have held up very well, even the 10’s which I've seen bend and bow with other brands.

get the really fat ones..... the kids will feel like they're lifting a lot more weight The University of Illinois basketball team posted a bunch of pictures of them lifting with the usual stupid ass hashtags about #Strong or #Grind or whatever and it had a picture of a kid struggling to curl. Plates looked like 45s and a bunch of the comments were about how awesome they were and strong and whatever. If you looked closely though, they were 10s. He was struggling to curl 65lbs.

Not trying to be snippy, genuinely curious. You have many kids cleaning 245 first set? We could use them for our lumberjack squats and barbell explode exercises. Using 45-lbs plates take up too much of the bar and the players don't have a good place for their hands. That would be their only use. We have a handful of players this would apply to.

I was this many years old before I'd heard of a Lumberjack Squat.
