A world without football would be a sad place.

My vision of football hell is where it's not football at all you have to coach, it's JV girls basketball. Now that's hell on steroids right there. AJ I feel ya! I will even one up you. My version of coaching hell...Girls track, its raining, 2 weeks before prom, gotta fill spots for the 4x400 relay....shoot me now!

Here is a true story of football hell... 5 years ago I coached at a high school where the old head coach from 10 years ago (state high school Hall of Fame Coach) comes out of retirement to be an assistant coach to coach his son who is the best athlete on the team and the BIGGEST TOOL I have ever met. All the kids on on the team hate his son with a passion, son mouths off to every coach on the staff (Including dad) and dad thinks he is the greatest QB and DB ever to play the game and is blind to the fact that the son is a complete jerk. Current Head coach and staff attempt to discipline son at different points during the season, Dad can't believe we would sit son, half the parents side with the ex-head coach, half the parents who know how the son is side with us....I will let you just imagine the fun that took place that season. Highlight of the season....Son argues with head coach about play that was called on 3rd and 5 in the middle of the field during playoff game with score tied at 14 in the 3rd quarter, father (hall of fame coach) steps in and gets in argument with son and then with head coach and penalty is called for delay of game . We go on to loose game 31-17. If you are catholic then you will understand when I say I feel I worked off at least 10 years of purgatory during that season alone. ;D
