Just curious, how many states are having virtual coaches clinics this year? How many are cancelling? For those who have had them, did you enjoy them? Why or why not?
I am currently helping with the Michigan one and really excited to see how it will turn out but I wanted to hear others experiences and feedback

Ours (Indiana) is usually in March. Nothing has been posted about whether or not it will be virtual. Not holding my breath, but hoping we'll be able to have it in person by that point.

I don't know if Virginia still has one. I'm retired but even before I retired I'd lost interest in the clinic. I wasn't alone. The last time I went The lobby looked like It had been evacuated. The state coaches' association used to put it on. Maybe they still do but the last info on their web site was for 2018.

I think because the old guard prefers the in person party a lot more than the actual clinic itself. The beer and the stories just aren't the same online. Wisconsin's clinic is more about getting away from your wife for a weekend and telling stories around the keg than it is about actual X and Os

I always try to learn from the clinics, but the beer, bonding with the staff, seeing guys you used to coach with, telling b.s. stories. Those are all part of the experience as well.

In my opinion, Glazier clinics are for learning, the state clinic is for bonding. Learn some, but meet up with some friends and enjoy the best part of coaching- the relationships.

Any one from Florida or South Carolina that knows about their state clinics? I have family in both places and have always had interest in traveling and seeing how another state runs there clinics? Would be ideal if they are in person and we (MI) are virtual this year.

Coach, Do you have any idea when the replays will be available for those of us who missed some sessions? Thanks in advance. No later than 2 weeks from the time of the presentation is what we have been told by Coaches Insider who partnered with the MHSFCA to produce the clinics

Would be ideal if they are in person and we (MI) are virtual this year. Coach, usually in SC the winter football clinic is the second weekend in February and they have it down at Myrtle Beach. I've not heard anything about this year and on the association's website the calendar won't even roll forward past this month and it simply says 'no upcoming events at this time'. In fact I haven't even heard anything about the all sports clinic that is held annually before the start of school year that would normally be the last week in July.

Thanks. I reached out today. Coaches Insider has informed us it could be up to 5 more days because they are busy processing so many virtual clinics. I apologize for the inconvenience but that is the answer I was given.
