Trying to make a new compilation, what do ya'll recommend? Need some good ones from the 80's hair bands, and some good modern stuff the kids like.

I don't know, but ANYTHING is better than listening to FM radio!
If I hear that dumb-a** "My Humps" song by Black Eyed Peas one more time, I'm going to saw my head off with a hacksaw.

Nigel: ...the numbers all go to eleven. Look...right across the board. Marty: Ahh...oh, I see.... Nigel: Eleven...eleven...eleven.... Marty: ..and most of these amps go up to ten.... Nigel: Exactly. Marty: Does that mean it's...louder? Is it any louder? Nigel: Well, it's one louder, isn't it? It's not ten. You see, most...most blokes, you know, will be playing at ten. You're on ten here...all the way up...all the way up.... Marty: Yeah.... Nigel: ...all the way up. You're on ten on your guitar...where can you go from there? Where? Marty: I don't know.... Nigel: Nowhere. Exactly. What we do is if we need that extra.. push over the cliff...you know what we do? Marty: Put it up to eleven. Nigel: Eleven. Exactly. One louder. Marty: Why don't you just make ten louder and make ten be the top... number... and make that a little louder?

as much as I kind of laugh at the old metal.....I was pretty shocked to find the kids 'jamming' out to Led Zepplin before one of our final games..... I would've imagined that'd be like ME cranking up the Beatles before playing one of MY games.....dunno...

"Slow Ride" is a cool song.
My guys always give me a hard time when I put KISS on in the weightroom.
How can you be a male teenager and not LOVE a band whose every song is about drinking beer, scoring with chicks, and rock & roll?

8-track. Now there is a term I have not heard in a while. I think my parents had one of those. Yeah, I remember those clunky things!!
Like Tog said this is the only place where one minute you can be discussing an 8-track then read a dissertation on the spread offense or midline.
