This will be the 1st time in 36 years that I'm not coaching this fall because of COVID-19. Thank you New York State. I always wanted what it would be like to take a vacation in the fall. Now i will find out. Our season will begin on March 1st. I do not know how it will work out. A lot of our players are Lacrosse guys and both sports will run into conflict at the end of the spring Football. Its shame because we won a title last year and have all the makings of a championship team again this year. For those of you who are coaching this fall. Good Luck and enjoy it.

If it makes you feel any better we loss last Friday, in a rivarly basically cause we dont have a QB, and the state runner up is waiting for us. Then I believe we go to corn country up the road, where we will promptly get our ass kicked.

Perhaps then you should focus more on coaching your team instead of lecturing people here on how to coach theirs.

down here in NYC I feel your pain.... our rival is likely losing their star QB to baseball (going d1 and could probably get drafted in a late round)

I'm in the Catholic Private School League

I'm the same way. 38 years coaching in the fall and now spring. NY also. I'm at a small school and don't see how we can do it with the amount of athletes we share. They need to get rid of the overlap if it will work at all.

Lovely weather in New York in March, should be fun. Was talk they would do that here in PA as well, when most spring sports teams lose at least their first week or so of games due to weather.
