Has anyone issued helmets? If so, do they have to be reconditioned if never used in a scrimmage or game? I’m worried I’ll get some bogus claim that since they were worn, they have to be sent in to be disinfected. I honestly just want to do it for our seniors even if our season looks grim...some of them would probably sleep with their helmet at night these next few weeks lol

We will be lucky to have a season but we did have camp last week. If something happens we will probably have to have them cleaned.

We have passed out helmets.
We are 2 months behind most everyone else in our state. Many have been full gear since late May.

NOT 100 percent sure but I believe they need to get recon and certified yearly even if they were not worn.

We recondition every helmet that was worn at least once. It’s a liability thing.
As far as the day to day use age, we have our locker room fogged ever night to keep them sanitized
