I have noticed that in the past two weeks or so my drive to get on the computer has waned. Maybe it is because all I friggin do is sit in front of a computer all day either wearing my teacher hat or my parent hat.

One, screen time fatigue as you suggested. Two , the connection issue, as we have evolved to a society where waiting 40-60 seconds for a page to load is hard to endure. Three, lacknof diversity in football at the moment. I went to about 6 high school games last year, and watched several others online. Very few under center snaps. Few TE. Same general offensive concepts resulting in a similar effect on defense. |

This has been such a great go-to site!!! Sure hate to see it wither away!! I'm retired but if I was still coaching it would be kind of hard to get excited about a season that we don't know will happen. |

I do think that's a big part of it too. I've already pretty much developed the special teams scouting report for our Week 1 opponent based on last year's film. The whole time I've been working on it, the thought of "Man, I hope I'm not wasting my time here" has been in the back of my head!

Same general offensive concepts resulting in a similar effect on defense. Agreed. I did the same as you and got to watch about 10 different teams in person. Also watched two or 3 games on TV. I think only 2 teams weren't shotgun spread with horrible zone run games. For me, it's boring as hell. There's no creativity or balls in it. But, it's the same in college and the pros. I find the vanilla runs to coaches too. They're all cookie cutter, PC, maker of men soundbite machines. In a profession that used to be dominated by huge personalities that were so different from coach to coach that it made their program that distinct, everyone is trying to fit the same mold to protect their ass. |

Seems to be much improved connection for me now. Still not like it was before I had any issues, but now I only wait about 5 seconds as opposed to 30-40
