Generally, how often do you like to order new football uniforms?

In our district, we are budgeted for every 5 years. Another school I was at did it every 6-7. The other trick on this is that some uniform styles have a shelf/style life from the manufacturer (others are always there), so if you need replacements some may be phased out and you need to plan accordingly.

Our game jerseys usually hold up well, but we will replace really beat-up jerseys every year. One thing that helps us giving graduating seniors their game jerseys. All seniors get the same jersey (home or away). So we end up replacing different jerseys every year.

We give the entire team a home or away every two years. E.g. 2019 - all athletes got our away. 2021 - all will get red.
Allows us to cycle through every four years. Need to find a stock jersey that works for you to do this.

My longest stop, we bought new uniforms in 2011. They just replaced them in 2019.

Until recently football wasn’t part of the uniform rotation. Long story there. Four years ago was the first time. The district gives us I think 500.00 and anything above that the program has to raise.

We have an outside "touchdown club" so we are able to spend more football money that we raise on things we need. Usually we take a piece by piece approach so the kids get something "new" every year. So 2017 we bought a complete new uniform set for home games. 2018 we bought a new pair of game pants that can be home or away. 2019 we bought new road jerseys. 2020 is going to be a new home jersey, and roll from there.
