Have you used or looked in to it? If you use and you like it, what are some of the best things about it? - What were the struggles in implementing it with your athletes? - How are you using it in your program? If you used it and didnt like it, why? - What parts did you find most challenging For those unfamiliar with RPR, this is the link to their site www.reflexiveperformance.com/

I have my Level 1 certification and have been doing RPR on my athletes for a year now.
Personally I absolutely love it. In the other thread there are several doubters and it’s understandable. I was very skeptical myself but decided to give it a shot. Incredibly glad I did.
Many may say it’s the placebo effect.
What I’ve noticed is personally with my own body my chronic lower back pain is completely gone. As far as my strength program numbers, from lifts to sprints, have increased as a whole across the entire program.
I drink the kool-aid
As far as implementation, I took one class period and explained the science behind RPR and performed the Pre and Post test drills for the ‘Wow’ factor. I always try to pick out the most respected kid in class that everyone else looks up to. Once they buy in, the class will typically follow. Surprisingly buy in wasn’t that hard. Our athletes (entire sports program) see it as our ‘edge’ over everyone else.
We perform Zone 1 wake up drills before every practice and mix in Zone 2/3 depending on our lift or game.
Kids have taken RPR home and implemented it with their parents also.

I would definitely recommend the RPR. We began to implement 1-3 actions after workouts in the spring, added a few more in the summer, and then made sure to do a full one on game days before we went onto the field for warm ups.
I was very skeptical when I first heard about it from a college coach I was visiting, and then the athletes were doing it before their practice. I made the comment about how odd it looked. He said ok, let's do this, and did one of the movements with arm strength and I felt for myself how drastic the change was. It is pretty easy to do, but you need to teach your kids to really grind in there.
Try it yourself, and you will see. I am also all in with the kool-aid, but people have said the same thing about athletic performance, or the forward pass, or the earth being round, so maybe the others are the ones who are behind. We will not only do it again this year, but add more and do this more frequently.

cnunley rfryklu, You read about "drastic change in strength" or speed, etc. How has your team performance been upgraded since RPR?

coach I did a ton of research on RPR before taking the level 1 class. Having done it on myself, I believe in it. I have bulging discs, arthritis in my spine and doing it a couple times, I immediately noticed a difference. I had a change in jobs before I could implement it fully but if you want to send me a PM I can send you a file I put together on it.
