Probably many stories. One would be the Friday Night Lights version where Odessa-Perriman's unofficial mascot/battle cry relates to MOJO. Also a southern term referring to good karma, mystical powers, and probably football momentum. And for you late 60's - early 70's fans, Jim Morrison and The Doors had a song, LA Women (with the lyric, Mr. Mojo risin') which is was a jumbling of the letters in Jim Morrison.

i thought Mojo was your libido and sexual prowess..........."get lucky". A team with a lot of mojo can swing things in their favor.

a few years ago, there was a controversial "mojo document" being moved around the net. it was basically about attitude and toughness and intimidation.

When I talk "mojo" to my team it refers to momentum. If we lost our MOJO then we've lost our momentum, and need to get it back.
