We start post season: Our state Championship is Veterans Day week each year on a Friday.
Week 1- gear hand in, player evals, recruiting portfolios completed, coaches evals, equipment inventoried
Week 2- off season lifting teams established, winter sports registrations (we encourage athletes to be in a winter sport, all lift)
Week 3- Thanksgiving week- relax
Week 4- Plan clinic/school visits for the staff- get to FCS play-off game in Tri-state area, start Winter Lifting season
Week 5- Winter Lifting, order all gear for next season (budget approved by AD)
Week 6- Winter Lifting
Week 7 & 8- Christmas Break- optional weight room times depending on the year- Games/Contests
Week 9- AFCA conference week- Winter Lifting
Week 10 to 15- winter weights ends- attend one clinic with entire staff
Week 16- Track Starts- Run track or play baseball- end of story
Week 17-29- Track season- Sunday night- open fields- all positions, Wednesday morning open gyms for skill groups
Week 30- finals and max week
week 31- relax- summer school and summer camps registration
Week 32- Summer Lifting starts
Week 33- Team Camp (max 2 days), summer lifting
Week 34- 7 on 7 (2 days)- summer lifting
Week 35- Individual Camp- summer lifting
Week 36- Individual Camp- summer lifting
Week 37- off for 4th of July
Week 38- resume summer lifting
Week 39- summer lifting and summer fundraiser
Week 40- Youth and Middle School Camps- summer lifting
Week 41- host our camp
Week 42- dead period--- Youth Combine starts Sunday
Week 43- Youth Combine- First day of practice Wednesday- 3 days of all a days- locked in
Week 44- 2 a days
Week 45- school starts- first game
Week 46-52- in season
