parents that sit in on board meetings run home and tell their kids....their kids know everything before the coaches. its sickening really...board meetings , boosters etc....all the same...spreads like a disease.

How about a 14 member search committee made up of supt, hs principal, ms principal, numerous parents, and community members (mostly those who have enough financial influence to get their voices heard). The parents and community members have been more than happy to "spread the word" all over town! What an ugly situation.

usually read about coaching rumors FIRST from the local RIVALS message board, or at the local sports bar --- much the same process as calande

most of the jobs that are open right now in Minnesota are either a done deal or they already had a short list of candadates. The local rivals board is a good source of rumors along with the bar in the hotel during the weekly clinic.

The rumors spread like wild fire here in southeastern Ohio. SE Ohio is a mostly rural area so most of the local town folk dont have much else to do besides gossip. LOL
