KNOW WHAT? noone has posted "single wing" but its a darn tough offense to stop. most guys wouldnt know it if they saw it.

Describe the nasty slot wing-t or South Texas slot T? I am from the midwest so maybe we call it something else up here. Sounds tough as heck to defend. I need to know more about this!

chuck, i don't know much more about it, just what i hear the defensive guys talking about, they pull their hair out that week (at least against the one team that doesn't give keys as much as some of the others do)
from the little film of it I saw, it was all misdirection with bursts going all 3 ways
when watching it from the field, it is really really hard to tell who even has the ball, they carry their fakes out so well and with such effort it is tough,
we had 2 really good senior linebackers that had been starters for a couple of years and had good coaching just have their minds blown trying to figure out where to go

Sounds a little like the gun read play with the QB bursting out the backdoor. Combine some jets in there too and then you could have a guy busting out to each flank and up the gut. Great fakes are HUGE.

Get me the hook ups man! I always love ball faking offenses. This year we are gonna need to fake that ball great on the belly series. But now we have some better counters built in too!

we can still be a really run oriented team from the spread...be good eough throwing to take what they give us.
