Notre Dame was completely dominated by Ohio State. Should have been a lot worse than 34-20. Ohio State stopped themselves more than Notre Dame did.
No way is ND a Top Ten team!

If it wasn't for a blown call against USC, ND would be playing Wednesday night. Find me 10 teams that are better than Notre Dame. I doubt you will

Not a fan of ND. But overrated, I am not sure I can agree with that. Nobody expected anyting of them, they came out of nowhere to be a pretty decent team. Almost beat USC, and continued to play well unlike Arizona State and Fresno State. Coach Weis helped Brady Quinn evolve into a great NFL prospect, while that is a great ten teams you have, I am sure there could be a pretty good argument to have Notre Dame in, as well as out. My 2 cents.

Anyway, you named 4 teams (the top 4) that could actually be argued as better than ND. Auburn, VT, and Wisconsin all better than ND? You sir, are a comedian ;D With the beating Georgia is getting, I'm not so sure THEY are a top 10 team. ND didn't roll over and die against OSU, and should have beat USC. If I remember correctly, no one gave ND a chance, including many saying their schedule was too tough. Now everyone uses their schedule as "evidence" they are overrated. Doesn't that make a lot of people not only wrong about ND, but also hypocrites? The MSU loss was bad, but they were seen as a good team at the time.

I am still not sold on Penn St, we shall see tomorrow. As for ND they are a good team but didn't play well tonight. West Virgina is the real deal. College ball is great because match ups do matter and week to week teams can be up or down. So far a great bowl season

That's part of the reason I'm not so sold on a playoff system even determining a true #1 team. Is there even really such a thing? I've been a big fan of the style of the play of WVU for a few years, so it's nice to see them finally getting the credit and national respect they deserve. Not many people at all gave them a chance against Georgia. A WVU clenches my bowl pool for me too. 18-7 isn't too bad I suppose.

I would have to say Auburn was overrated as well as they were out played by an 11 point underdog today in Wisconsin.

You always have to adjust how good Notre Dame is because they are ALWAYS overrated a little. They play by different rules than anybody else does. With that being said, i still think this is a good football team and still a top 10. They just came against a better team. OSU was the better team tonight. Some teams know how to take it to another level in big games. OSU's recievers looked really fast out there tonight. I'm not ready to jump of the Charlie Weis bandwagon though. Look what he accomplished. Before tonight he lost two games one to the #1 team in the nation the other by a few points and a BCS birth. Thats a huge jump up in your first year installing a new system. The overall talent of this team IMO was by far worse than Coach Willingham's first season with ND when they went on that streak. Coach Weis did an outstanding job this year, lets see what he can do in the recruiting game. If he can get some speed at the WR position Notre Dame will be back.

Give Notre dame a corner or 2 and its a different ball game. Notre Dame dropped too many passes in the first half. ND ran the ball better than anyone expected. Hawk is the real deal. Hopefully ND can make a return trip to the fiesta bowl next year, except there will be a national title on the line next year.

I'm not a Notre Dame fan, however I think they are a Top 10 team.
Anyway, look forward to them starting the season off 0-1 next year after they lose to GT.
