Who has a good fundraiser?
We already do discount cards and do well but I need a second home run fundraiser (5k plus).

Golf Tournament... I'm at a small school and can make $4500 pretty easy. Played in one for a another school a few weeks ago and they made 15k. (their enrollment is about 1100) If you/parents/kids do the leg work for hole sponsors and raffle items, the money is pretty easy.

Our Boosters used to to a golf tournament. Was tough on the adults trying to do the raffle stuff. Then I had the players team up, 3, maybe 4 per team, and come up with raffle baskets. That worked really, really well. Better baskets because they were a team/group effort, the adults didn't have to go out begging and have that worry, and they made a lot more on the raffle tickets.

We have 3 big fund raisers. 1 - Golf Tournament in spring (booster club runs this-coaches work it). Golfers get lunch, golf, a cart, prime rib dinner. During the dinner there is a silent auction (all kinds of stuff). 2 - Discount card sale the first week we start preseason camp (coaches run this). This starts the day we issue gear and ends 1 week later. 3 - Bench-a-thon at the end of February(coaches run this-dead period between winter and start of spring sports). Kids get pledges for how much they can lift. Prizes awarded for best lift in each weight class and overall. Prizes awarded for most pledges in each weight class and overall. Every participant gets a shirt.
That's it. Obviously, the golf tournament and the card sales bring in big $$$.

Y'all should try fund-team.com. It's an email fundraiser where the students use the app to send emails to family and friends to ask for money. That's it! It's been very successful - the average raise is $200/student - and the best part is there is only 5% commission. Credit card processing fees are around 3% (less if you're a registered non-profit), so you'll keep right around 92% of your donations. No products to sell, no hassles. It takes about 10 minutes for the admin to set up a campaign, the students create a profile page by uploading a picture and their email addresses, and then the money comes in. It's really that easy. You can reach people all over the country with this fundraiser. www.fund-team.com

If you're looking for an easy fundraiser try Football Frenzy. High profit and rewards your supporters with cash prizes. You sell ticket with 3 NFL teams on them for a certain amount of weeks. The ticket holders whose 3 teams score the most or least each week, wins! Green Bee Fundraising takes care of everything. Custom tickets to sell, direction for parents, posters, tracking tools, online buying and more. Definitely a different fundraiser that sells itself.
Green Bee also has other programs if you need to raise money another time of year. They have Basketball Slam (follows March Madness tournament) Hockey Shot (follows NHL), Baseball Fever (follows MLB)

Who has a good fundraiser? We already do discount cards and do well but I need a second home run fundraiser (5k plus). Our HC does a season long raffle. $20 a ticket. Kids sell 10 each, we sell them at the gate, parents and coaches sell them its a season long push. Winners are drawn at halftime of the last home game no need to be present to win. Top prize - 2500 2nd prize - 1000 3rd prize - 500 and then businesses kick in some non cash prizes as well. We sold 500 tickets year 1 480 year 2 for 6,000 and 5600 for the program respectively.
