We had 2 fridges donated. What are some foods you would stick the fridges and locker rooms in general with for players post workout and post practice?

We get a lot of milk donated by the school. Chocolate milk is good post practice. We feed our kids every day something. School provides during the summer, parents chip in and buy bread and peanut butter/jelly during the season.

After lifting we go with Chocolate milk, Austin Crackers, and Freezer pops... all of them are fairly cheap. One year we did peanut butter and jelly after practice. Our coach called it the PB&J buffet. That got pretty expensive, He kept all his receipts and it cost quite a bit of money. I buy the milk, crackers, and freezer pops. I dont keep track of the receipts because I don't want to know how much I spend.

Boosters have budgeted some money. We’ve got granola and protein bars (can get costly), PB sandwiches (principal put the kabosh on that), cheese sticks
I’m just looking for multiple options
Have done bananas etc for before

I worked with a guy that just bought huge tubs of peanut butter and plastic spoons. We had them stocked in all coaches classroom and the coaches office. He didn’t mess around with bread and had a no double dipping rule.
At times he could get peanut butter and plasticware from the lunch lady but one way or another kids could get a quick spoon of peanut butter on the run if they needed or wanted it.

Because 1 out of our 100+ kids has a peanut allergy when he eats it, not just being around it

We go to Sam’s and get a bunch of protein bars and gatorades etc. but the kids have to pay for them. It’s cheap cause it’s not for profit but that our system. 1.50 will get you a Gatorade and a protein bar with 400 cals and 20g of protein
