Looks like it has come a long way since I saw it. Hope it is ready to rock for the 1st game. Nothing like breaking it in with a nice win.

It should be ready. The last few steps in getting our field in went very fast. It's hard to tell, but they have the lines down - right? The next step is the numbers and arrows? Then they rake in the chipped rubber.
One piece of advice - take your shoes off before going in the house. The chipped rubber gets everywhere.

I played on an indoor futbol team with this stuff. Got an education quick about the rubber chips.
Talk with you soon!!

Once they start it doesn't take that long. Maybe 3 weeks from start to finish. Cool process, when we got ours done we were there every night checking it out, watching step by step. Wait until they get the tar out, when they cut out the numbers and tar them in.

The big issue is man hours. Supposedly the company doing it has 8 other jobs going on!!!!!!!!! That is the problem. Not enough bodies on one site.

Thanks JD - Should be fun and well worth the effort. 75 inches of rain annually and an occasional snow shower shouldn't hinder the field too much. Not just a football field anymore. The PE classes can get out on it now!!!!
