Other than the offset TB, it is not new. We face it twice a year.

well not nessicarily a new thing but just a formation that doesnt normally do what it would appear. It does not motion the slot very often like the wing-t does. The slot is lined up about 6 yards off of the tackle. The offset tail bringing some of the runs from the wing-t over to it and the help of the offense spreading out the field to create running lanes

we use this formation.....mainly passing, but we still run trap counter dive and fly sweep (the offset RB leadblocking with no linemen pulling).
our RB lines up 4yds deep and behind either G

How effective was it? Running-wise and passing-wise?
I would like to use this formation to run and pass in a balanced fashion.

It worked well for us....
It just depends what you want to do out of it.

Is this not showing up properly for me on my PC? I just see a standard 2x2 one back set, with the back offset?

I have seen that formation called half-pro before. One interesting aspect of the formation is that the quarterback can easily shift into shotgun, which can make for some interesting plays.

Grinnell College runs the shotgun version of this formation. They have a video series out called The Shotgun Wing-T Offense by Championship Productions
