How do you practice team with the no-huddle? Do you worry about the scout D "stealing your plays" or does it not really matter?
Is it shortened calls in, or do you go through all the signals?

We have arm bands on the offense so Defense can't steal anything. Our system allows for multiple tags for the same play so someone has to belong to MENSA if they're going to remember every code!

Heck, I would rather the scout D know what was coming. The 3rd string LB is not going to get the read on an Iso as well as the guy we are playing Friday night.

We show the D scout cards when the offense is getting plays.
We don't put our soph. on scout, we put our seniors/juniors who are not on 1st or 2nd offense on scout. Most of them are defensive starters.
We want the best look we can get.

we put together 2 scout teams (one team is all sophs, and the other team is made up of the rest of the JR/SR kids) and we run 2 groups at the defense. So once the ball has been spotted the other scout team is ready to snap the ball.
