Congrats to Ottawa Lake Whiteford coached by coachjm for their Division 8 State Title after beating Saginaw Nouvel Catholic 42-21. Ballsy start with an onside kick & then constant physical blocking & execution on offense matched with aggressive & sound play on defense! |

Good to see another predominantly Under Center team come out on top even if it was a private school. |

Good to see another predominantly Under Center team come out on top even if it was a private school. Got my hands on some of their film due to our semifinal opponent. They're a pretty basic wing t team. They have a few dudes and are incredibly well coached. Would give most of D1 a run for their money too. |

Can these games be streamed or downloaded anywhere? I think so through mhsaa.com? I know they are on demand somehow. I forget if you maybe have to pay a small membership fee to nfhs or not. |

Pretty sure Fox Sports Detroit streams them for free. Our game (biggest division in the state) is at 1pm Eastern Time today.
The D3 game should be good as well. It features Muskegon who has an amazing offense (this is where Skee gun comes from) and Farmington Hills Harrison who runs a pro style offense. Tons of power, counter, and play action.

I think the NFHS site may have them as well. If they have it you have to pay $9 for the month to watch live games. I believe for older games the games are free.

Fox Sports Detroit will have the 10 am and 1 pm games live today. I think the later games will be on Fox Sports Detroit-Plus.
I think they are live on mhsaa.com as well.
All eight championship games will be replayed tomorrow on FSD beginning at 10 am.

I can’t remember if I paid the membership or waited until December to watch the 2nd day last year. I know I paid that membership in February to watch our starting OLB / back-up FB in the MHSAA Wrestling Finals last year. |

I had an interest because the De La Salle HC was my high school HC and the guy who got me into coaching. I coached against Franklin in the semis. Seemed like De La Salle was able to capitalize on early opportunities, which is the opposite of what we did in the semifinal. After losing the round before it's hard to say whether I'd have rather seen Franklin win or if there's some vindication in seeing another team do what we couldn't... De La Salle looked good! Tough to say how we'd have done against them but they executed really well. |
