I have another. This Friday I went to a game and of course, both teams were gun ride action teams with 3-4 receiver sets, slow footed wide outs, and noodle arm qbs. You know, the standard stuff. Early in the 2nd quarter Team A was in a 3rd and Short situation, and got under center and went 3 back power I with TE. The blasted Team B and picked up the 1st down. A little later in that series, they did the same on the goaline to go up 7-3 Here comes the amazing part :
The offensive coaches DEFIED THEIR NATURAL DNA and just ran Power I the rest of the night. The final score, 28-3! Great win for society.

Last week, I saw a youth (8-10, looked like) flag football team running a true run n'shoot offense, and pattern matching on defense.

I cant make it bold the part I want cause I am o the phone, however, the gun beginning part is the description of 90% of brazilians teams lol Im posting on my website different offenses hoping they do something different and think instead of just copy nfl or top 5 ranked CFB teams. I already posted about UBSW, pistol flexbone show gun offense and unbalanced spread SW. The next will be double wing followed by wing t.

Rather than being gun/ride whiteboard RPO wizards, they recognized that the defense had no answer for hulk smash. So they just smashed which I believe is against Visor code.

I guess I was looking at it from the perspective that those guys probably thought that they re-invented football by going to the I. But yes...you are right. If you have your QB take a snap under center and ever have more than 1 RB in the backfield, then you are pretty much banned from ever wearing a visor. And DW or full bone guys can only wear trucker hats with the plastic adjustable strap.

I just sent them their papers for a dishonorable discharge from the visor army...if your QBs hands touch the backside of your center, no visor permitted.

One of our coaches also works as a personal trainer. I just saw on his Facebook page a message from a woman who's looking for somebody to train her son for football. The kid is FIVE YEARS OLD! At our staff meeting tonight I told the coach that my niece is pregnant and asked if he trains fetuses.

Wouldn't want to get excessively musclebound before passing through the Cervix

To me this sounds like Unicorns, Big Foot, and Saban being nice. Pretty far out for a Monday morning.

He can't even use a physioball.

my kid is 6 right now and currently shows no interest in any sporting events whatsoever...while I guess I'm disappointing considering my own personal feelings about them, I can't help but be pretty fired up about all the money I'm likely to save and weekend I'll get to spend at home instead of traveling to far flung towns for "travel ball"....I think I make out good either way
speed coach....smh

My 7 year old nephew's football coach spends about 2 minutes in each huddle and got more delay of games (3) than first downs on Saturday.
I guess this is what they call the facemelter offense...

We got stomped, BAD, on Friday night. From the middle of the first quarter on, a dad in the stands was screaming "GET SOME BEEF ON THAT LINE!!" He was referring to us playing his 240lb junior son who WAS IN THE GAME AND HAD BEEN ANNOUNCED AS A STARTER.

Looking back at it, I would have sent my boys to specialty camps when they were 6. I would have paid decent money to a coach that could have taught them to tie their own shoes and not pee on the floor next to the toilet. I clearly didn't have the chops to get those 2 jobs done.

I thought my was bound to be a Gardner all the darn grass he picked during athletics. Now he meets me at the door when I get home to take ground balls and run the route tree. He better enjoy that route tree while he's 9 because if he ever touches the ball when he gets older it will be a center. He's doomed with dad's lineman DNA.

I just officiated a kids game yesterday where the coach put two padded up 4-year olds on the field to compete with 6/7/8-year olds. Nothing about youth football surprises me anymore.
