I honestly haven't had too much experience with all of the file exchange serices. But so far...
I always seem to have issues with putfile. You have to have the correct codec(compress/decompress) software on each player you use(MS MediaPlayer or Apple Quicktime), as the one used by the publisher of the video. With putfile there's a 25mg limit per file and a user can view, but can't save a download.
I'd suggest to keep using yousendit.com. They have a 1GB limit and downloading is much faster and anyone can save it locally.
With our sport being so visual, if we all can start posting video examples for topics we're discussing, it would really add another dimension to this forum.

what type of file did you upload? meaning, in what format (wmv, avi, mpeg, mov) was the video created?
you may have uploaded a mpeg file but the default setting on your browser is to use quicktime to view it in mov form. something of that nature.
benefit of sites like putfile is it gives you an url that allows you to view whenever, wherever. also, putfile now has the ability to create portfolios that can be viewed. as in, i could create a "page" on putfile.com where i've uploaded images & videos so that all you need to do is go to my "page".

I ripped it from a dvd and its in mpeg-2 format.. putfile doesnt say it supports mpeg2.. so I dont know.. I have been trying to find something to let me convert form mpeg2 to avi.. but havent had the luck of finding a free one..
The reason I wanted to put it up is like Mav said.. If we can talk about stuff on here and then show video of it.. wow.. that will make it so much more effective.. I was telling people about my powerzone play the other day.. and I have 2 plays on video on here.. It would be easier for everyone I would think if they could just go to the putfile site and open it and view it there instead of having to download it..

Try using the utility Handbrake you used b4 -- That's dvd to mpeg4(avi). They accept that.
