How would you break up your staff responsibilities for a spread offense.
4 Coaches on Offense
OL - 2 Coaches (5 positions)
WR - 1 Coach (4 positions)
QB/Back - 1 Coach (2 positions)

I think the qb needs his own guy. Also think teaching ol in spread is pretty easy. Especially if you never have a TE.
For me ol-1 wr-1 rb-1 qb-1
the rb and ol coach need to be on the same page for pass pro and inside hull and a lot of times can work both positions at the same time during inside hull

I was think the same.
The RB could go with the OL a fews during the week and the WR a few days during the week to work on their blocking and catching skills.

I agree. The QB needs his own guy. In our spread we have a lot of reads. This takes time to teach.

4 coaches qb=1 rec=1
those 2 will work together tons
ol=1 rb=1
work together tons
5 coaches.......add a receivers coach. break down into inside receivers / outside receivers
6 coaches.....2nd ol coach. break into guards/centers & tackles

Same question is on the defensive board.

we have 3 varsity coaches.
1-QB 1-WR 1-RB
RB's spend hal time with receivers and with the QB's on the A frame for option work. I also have 3 JV coaches. On JV game days they come to varsity I then have 2 WR coaches, 2 OL, I RB, and 1 QB. This is the only day that the RB's get really good individual work.

hmmm well, lets do things the old gallup way
HC: LB, QB, OC DC: DB, WR, calls the D Line coach: OL/DL JV HC: assist line coach, JV DC JV OC: coach the skills at JV, stand around at the Varsity game with a headset
all this equals a very tired and overworked staff

I agree with one coach for each position with 4 coaches.
I would add a 2nd OL coach before adding a 2nd recievers coach.
