Hey Coaches. Has anybody had experience with either First Pitch Quarterback Machine or machines from Juggs "the General"? We are looking into purchasing a Machine and these seem like the only two companies that make this product.

We're looking at getting the first pitch machine as it's cheaper. I looked around to find a used version of either and had no luck. It seems like the only difference is the name and color, but I could be wrong

We have Juggs and love it. Have no experience with First Pitch, although it looks the same as the Juggs minus the wheel for transport. I know without the transport wheel the Juggs would be a PITA to set up and move around.
You could get the mobile cart with the First Pitch and it would still be cheaper than Juggs though....

We have a Juggs and the cart and a portable generator so we can take it anywhere. I would recommend have fun with right when you get it. Crank it up and see what it can do. We've shot balls from the back of the school to over the pressbox onto the field. That was fun.

I can't comment on the First Pitch product but in general I've loved the Juggs machine. You can send over 30 balls a minute downrange consistently for as long as you want. I don't think there's any other way to get that kind of hands work.
They're not complicated machines, the only difference would be if one was manufacturing them on the cheap for some reason.
