I'm looking for opinions from people who have used both helmets, either your program made a switch or you've been at different programs that have used each.
What differences did you notice? Pros/Cons for each?

We us both (as well as Xenith) I don't see a whole lot of difference in the two other than the Schutt helmets tend to pop of more frequently. I like to have a variety of brands because they all fit differently. I will say that the players all want the Riddell helmets, but the ones that have worn both say the Xenith fits the best.

We have a combination of Speeds and Speed Flex
best helmets we have ever had
the Flex SUCKS for repairs, it is so unique that it has different parts and tools
Hard to fix we had some issues with the chin straps snapping, or these weird screw things popping off
that said, best helmet we have ever had regarding comfort, fit and concussions
if you have "an equipment guy" who can fix stuff in games then they are great

We use the Riddell Speed and the Schutts. The kids want the Speeds because they think they're sexier. Most of the skill positions get the Speed and most of the hogs end up with the Schutts. The kids say that the Riddell helmets are more comfortable. I haven't noticed a difference in concussions.
