First shots at game videos from last season. We went 6-5, which may not sound like all that great, but... It's the first time we've had a winning record since 1999 and the first time to the playoffs since 2007. The coach before me took the 400th loss in school history. We're 10-11 the last two seasons since I took over and started trying to change things. We lost the playoff game 27-29 on the very last play of the game when they got us on a slant pass. Lost 2 other games in the last minute as well so we could have been better.
These are our offensive TD's this season. We run Pistol Triple Option so you can get an idea of how that works. I'll have more play-specific videos in January. The normal QB, #7, is a sophomore, 2nd team all league. He's going to Darrin Slack in Irvine after Christmas.
This is our defensive highlights, just sacks and turnovers and defensive TD's. We ran a base 4-3 but morphed into a 4-2/4-4 look with a lot of stack. Good players made us better coaches than we were, 6'5", 290 makes me a really smart coach.
These aren't my best efforts for 'highlight' videos, but I wanted to get them out early so I could use them for our awards night next week.

Coach, I follow your YouTube channel and have followed your offense for a few years. What are your blocking rules on the backside of inside veer? Is there a reason that you aren't scooping on the backside like in traditional flexbone? Does it just not work due to your pistol alignment?
