Our season ended on Tuesday afternoon as we lost our play-in game for the playoffs. Rough year of inconsistency this year for us after winning it all the year before. Struggled to be consistent on offense and just couldn't make enough plays in the other phases to make up for it. Here is the HL Video from the season. 8th grade team went 3-7 and missed the playoffs. Injuries and the inability to bounce back from adversity killed us.
7th grade we went 10-1 and lost in the championship game to our cross county rival 14-6. We had out scored opponents like almost 300-60something but they just had a huge RB and controlled the clock and for the first time our offense didn't have a good night. Sucks for the kids.
After the game a parent came over and started shouting about his kid not making all conference (our HC did screw him but it was a thing where only 4 can make it per team, but he was best player in conference).
Overall great first year and this is definitely what I want to do.
