We use porta-phone wireless with no buttons. They work great.

We have 3. One for the booth and 2 for the sideline. I wear one and my OC wears the other. We have two spotters/coaches up in the booth and one talks to both of us on the ground.

coach comm....
field - 4 offense channel / 4 defense channel
box - 2 offense channel / 2 defense channel
with the hc having ability to switch between the 2 channels
