Has anyone tried to run the Pistol with the flexbone option / veer game?
What I hypothesize:
2-3 no motion passes - air raid style No Motion Mid-Line Veer No Motion Speed Option
Motion Deep rocket toss / FB Trap Combo Motion to Base Iso Plays Motion Naked Motion Triple Option 2 Play Action Passes out of Motion Motion - Counter Option
Fake Option - Wing back counter - out of either motion or no motion
I am usually out to lunch with my offensive daydreams...
If you hate the flexbone, just ignore this post. I don't want to debate the values of the flexbone.

We're doing very similar things. We're working with Nevada this year. Our HB has verbally comitted to them and Ault told me if I needed anything to just let him know.

As a DC, I would say that if you could execute this package, it would be tough to deal with. I think you would have to really structure your practices to be able to get enough work on all the different attacks to be good at all of them. You would definitely have to be a two platoon team with very few players playing both ways.

pretty much what we ran last year i am going to a new school and moving into more traditional spread stuff with it, but pistol and pistol flex are two base sets
