Just wondering if anyone knows what Div 1 team has the longest streak of not playing in a bowl game? My thought would be Temple, but I cannot confirm it. Anyone know for sure? Are there any schools that have never been to a bowl game?

cmow--I would say plenty of the schools that were formally (and should still be) 1AA schools but are playing up for the pay day haven't made a bowl game. University of Louisiana Monroe and University of Louisiana Lafayette both come to mind.

Not sure, but I do know that until Bill Callahan arrived at Nebrasks we had went to 37 straight Bowl Games. And most of those Bowl games were played back in the day when there were just a handfull of Bowl Games. He broke so many other records, not enough room in this post LOL. dave we get it

Is it me, or does it seem that Coach Davecisar is no fan of current Nebraska situation??? I'm going out on a limb on this one - but I think he is no fan of Bill Callahan either I looked it up - and it states that the New Mexico State Aggies have not been to a bowl game since 1960. (The Sun Bowl)

I can't think of any one for certain, but what about: Duke, Arizona, UConn, Baylor, MAC schools, UNLV, Wyoming, Arkansas State, Western Kentucky or Utah State. I honestly don't know and some could have even been in a bowl last year for all I know. I'm just trying to throw some names out to get the ball rolling.
