Never had this happen before.
First 2 drives turned it over in red zone.
Fumbled at the end of a 50 yard completion.
Traded TE and our WR didn't get off the LOS. Twice. On runs of 20 plus yards.
16 penalties. We'd move down the field then screw ourselves. It was like nothing I've ever been apart of.
We must have had 7 or 8 explosive plus called back.
Biggest game of the year too.

Happened to us last year. We had two pick-sixes and two fumbles returned for TDs. We lost 48-6, or something close. It was a disaster. I was embarrassed walking down from the box at the end of the game.

Traded TE and our WR didn't get off the LOS. Twice. On runs of 20 plus yards. Wait a minute. There's no penalty for too many men on the line. There's a penalty for not enough on the line and for an illegal receiver downfield on a pass but on a run there's no reason that the WR needs to be off of the line.

You are right it was our z not getting onto the line that was the problem. Its all still a blur of missed opportunities to me.

We had that happen earlier this year. I felt we could win. The problem is the kids we overconfident and thought they'd kill the opponent. Got blown out same score you did. We were losing kids throughout the game from "injuries" and everything else. It was embarrassing all around. The hungover went through us the following week. It took some lousy opponents for us to regain some confidence but in a way we are still reeling and that was week 2 and here we are week 7. Just have to keep plugging away.

a friend of mine used to tell me: "coach, you cant play for them" - and ive had to remember that this year - we are 0-5 and averaging 14 points a game....
sometimes your kids just dont show up on gameday.
