I need tremendous imput about this thread please.
Besides being the leader of the offensive/defensive coaches, what are the responsibilities if this occupation?
How do coordinators pick which type of offense/defensive formation they want to use? Is it something that they may have played while in h.s./college/NFL or maybe notes from various other coaches that have had success maybe?
I'm a rookie trying to learn this kind of stuff. My mentor told me he knew he was going to be a coach by age 6 and, he had success and retired on top. I like the idea of one day being a head coach but, I would love to be a coordinator and I'm leading towards the "dark side" of defense.
