Does anybody have any suggestions on how I can get envolved in some camps this summer? I have tried talking to offense-defense, SI camps, and MPA. Any way to get envolved in Division 1 camps?

Any way to get envolved in Division 1 camps? i just called the football offices at a lot of colleges in my area. some had openings, others had waiting lists. i just kept calling until something opened up and i got on the "staff". once you're on, you can usually work them forever. i'm not afraid to simply pick up the phone & ask. all they can do is say no thanks. i've done the same with some other "specialty" camps in the area. some say yes, others have all the staff they need. but, i keep calling every year. |

thanks...thats pretty much what i've been doing. the worst they can do is say no. then you just move on. its really a good experience, just talking to the different coaches. some of them will bend over backwards and be so nice. others talk to you like you're a moron and act pissed that they're having to hold a phone up to their ear for you. i love coaching, but i dont understand why coaches started thinking they're god's gift to the world.
