Tony Dungy's 18-year old son died yesterday. Not sure how, but that is really horrific...don't know how I would be able to function if that happened to me.

Been thru it in my family Tog, lost one of my kids(youngest daughter) the same way, same age. 9 years ago this month! Don't really like to talk about it even now but I wish I knew Coach Dungy, so I could tell him you can live thru it! We've all had our problems getting over it but we've managed to keep our remaining family together and trying to live positive lives!

Since I've started talking with you all on this forum about this painful subject, I just wanted to say one more thing about it and then thats it! My wife is constantly leaving little sticky notes around the house with Bible verses for me to read and I saw this one this morning on the table and it really hit home with me! Its from Proverbs 15 v. 13 and goes something like this-A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance, but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken! After a tragedy such as this, you can either dwell in misery and guilt or pick yourself up and move on. We chose to move forward and live! Since that time 9 years ago, my wife and I have been blessed with 6 grandchildren and have found peace in our lives! Thanks for listening, Carl Sellers (los)

I don't really know what to say los. You are a stronger man than me. Thanks for sharing with us and giving us some insight on a positive way to deal with a tragic loss.
