He posted on here as a follow up. I searched his threads, here is his reply:
UPDATE: First off Thanks for all the positive thoughts, wishes, quotes, and prayers. Thanks alot to all you guys and your families.
So the wife and i got back from KC after meeting with this new SuperDoc. He doubts that is cancer which is awesome. He thinks that sometime during the season I fractured my humerus the big bone in my upper arm. When i fractured it, that allowed bacteria from somewhere to get into the bone. The infection spread which developed around my lymph nodes in my armpit (the lump). Looking at the x-rays and the MRI you can actually see this line leading from the bone to the mass, CRAZY. So this Thursday he will open me up to remove some lymph nodes, the mass and he will have to remove part of my arm bone. Then he will graf some health bone in the humerus. Process sounds pretty cool, i think it might hurt a little. But im so relieved that i dont have the Big C.
Thanks Again to all
Marinelli

Glad to hear ex-centralcoach is doing well. This will probably prove my ignorance, and I'm not trying to insult people who do use tobacco, but can you get cancer in your mouth that doesn't involve tobacco use?
