Quick question for you all. I want honest opinions/answers.
I have a student manager who is a sophomore that is in need of a kidney replacement. Her kidneys are functioning at less than 20%. I am trying to think of a way to raise some money for medical expenses the family will be facing.
Here is my idea. Every year I do a highlight video for my team. I would like to sell them at 20 bucks per season (have been here 6 years). Would make a deal where if you ordered all 6 would only cost you 100 bucks.
Good idea? Bad idea?
We are a DW team.
2000 7 and 3 (league champs playoff qualifier)
2001 8 and 2 (league champs playoff qualifier)
2002 10 and 1 (league champs playoff quarterfinalist)
2003 10 and 1 (league champs playoff quarterfinalist)
2004 10 and 1 (league champs playoff quarterfinalist)
2005 7 and 3 (league runner up and playoff qualifier)
What do you think? Would it work?

I'm not sure if that would work but I think that it would be a good gesture for you to do it. I think that if you bought a team website and sold pixels away for charity you could do well. I read about a guy who sold pixels (space on a screen... 1 million pixels) for $1. He raised 1 million dollars in 3 - 6 months. Now I would use some room to explain what it is for. Then sell the rest for this cause.

coach, do a "stock" sale for your players and take a portion to send toward her transplant.
Each player is responsible to sell "stock" in the team at $10-20 per stock. This is to help off set the cost of football for the players. Each player is to raise $150. Could split 100/player - 50/kidney or whatever you see is resonable

have checked into this carson, school will not allow us to do it though. administration is VERY OPPOSED to any kind of alumio games of any kind (we even offered to go flag football rather than full pads). i love the idea though, and in next job (if I ever leave) I plan on doing this, I think it would be fun!
