Is there anything special or different about screen printing numbers on our jerseys? We need new uniforms and one thing I'm looking into is buying blank jerseys and have a local shop number them, if that's possible and/or feasible.

I wouldn't do it, but that's me. You might be saving some money, but I don't think it's worth it. Those letters and numbers would be lucky to last a season on some of the jerseys.

I agree that I wouldn't do it either. Usually screen printed jerseys have a chemical added to the ink that allows the printing to flex better than normal screen printing. I know it took Riddell a couple of years to figure out the right mix so that the screen printing didn't just peel/fall off.

Thanks. Wasn't sure if it was an option or not.

If you wanted to do it in house, then tackle twill has to be the way to go.. Only need a machine and a competent sewer then..

Not to change the subject too much, but are there any company's doing full dye football jerseys? Meaning everything is dyed into the jersey? No tackle twill, no threads, no screen print. I know in the competitive men's softball world and aau baseball has gone to these. It's more expensive, but if you have it, it's well worth it.

Back in the fall when I started looking my Russell rep showed my some sublimated b-ball jerseys and said he believes football will eventually start going to them. Some are already doing trim and inserts with sublimation but I don't know if anybody is doing a full jersey yet. It seems to be a thinner more flexible material so I don't know about durability, maybe that's something they're working out?

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using proboards I assume you're talking about "sublimated" jerseys? These are very common with football jerseys. Most companies offer sublimation. I know that Riddell, Adidas and Alleson offer sublimated options for sure.

Who did you get these from? sports store here in the uk.. ( it was actually the former owner of the team who ran the store, we are now looking for new unis as we have a new guy running the show.. ) would cost you a fortune in shipping.. i`m certain there are tons who do this stateside, but its actually quite popular here in the uk.. lots of teams do it.. heres lincoln.. another team in our division.. and worcesters old jerseys from the uni league.. ( blue ) they moved to the white ones.. which are screen printed rawlings i believe

Look into the company Elite they did my college jerseys and they were built into the jersey so they never faded and felt like a real jersey. Also you can design them however you want them they are sick!

There is a company called Pro Look Sports that does fully sublimated uniforms. We ordered jerseys and compression shirts from them this year. We haven't gotten them in yet, but the designs looked awesome!

Siege Sports has the Team USA football uniform contract. They are truly a custom design. When some say "customizable" they mean pick from a menu of several choices. Siege works with you to create something unique. siegesports.com/how-it-works/We have done some things with them. Here's a sleeveless compression they did for us.

I'm not familiar with that brand, but those are great looking compression shirts. I cant speak for every brand, but speedline, the one I recommended also does fully customizable. I've seen some compression shirts a coach designed that looked like a suit of armor, and it looked awesome.

You will get EXACTLY what you want since you & them create it together. Was a 4 week turn-around, too.
