I'm just looking for suggestions out there an maybe there would be no way to start this up (or maybe hookup with another town that does not have their own organization).
But some of the guys in my town noticed that the kids here are NO WAY intereted in going to the team that's two towns over for one reason or another. Since there's no way that THAT organization's ways/ people in charge is going to change. Trust me, for the two years that I've been with this organization, I've tried to give them suggestions for two years and was looked at like I insulted their mother. Anyway, the guys in my town are throwing some ideas around to see if we should start up our own program and/or hook up with another town (more on that in a minute).
Well, unfortunately we are starting from ABSOLUTE SCRATCH. Although we were looking to start in 2008, it may take longer than that to get off the ground (if we actually pull this off) because:
-No money (hey, we just started this), -No established organization (yet), -No field big enough to have home games on (but can practice on it), -Probably minimum help from town officials.
Some questions:
Is it worth looking into starting up our own organization? If so, how would we go about this:
-Fundraising ideas -Getting money for equipment, insurance, etc?
If we can't get our own teams started, how can we go about asking another town if they would be interested in joining us or US JOINING THEM?
Sorry for babbling. Like I said, I'm just looking for ideas and if you guys think that this is feasable. If you need more info, let me know.
Thanks.

Is co-oping legal in your state? Some states it is - some not. If you can round up the interest the more power to you. Football is the greatest sport and if we can help promote in an area that doesn't have it, the better off everyone is for it.
