I am a former hc that is no longer coaching . . . for now. Twenty plus years in teaching/coaching. I am a Okie transplant in Texas that prefers the following schemes; tight/split eagle defense, multiple-I offense but I have coached under 4-3, veer, and spread philosophies.

Hi everyone, I am a HS varsity assistant (OL/DL) in northeast Arizona. I am originally from Kansas and try to keep up with high school ball back there. I am in my ninth year of teaching and coaching and I love both. I have three years of middle school experience, two years of high school JV and two years as varsity assistant. I just discovered this site and I am very impressed. I have learned a lot in the short time I have been reading. I am looking forward to learning more. I probably won't be able to tell you all anything you don't know already, but will chime in when I have something to offer.

Very impressive site guys.
I've been a youth football coach (10-12) here in South Texas for 7 yrs and have coached 7-on-7 for our local high school the past two years as well. I love learning as much as I can about the game and very much enjoy teaching the game to kids having their first experience with football.
Offense: I/Gun Defense: 30 Stack

New to site. Been coaching for 25 years, past six as the Head Coach. Coaching in Southern Wisconsin. Have been a Wing T coach all 25 years. Looking to switch over to shot gun spread offense due to the talent we have coming up. Am trying to research and learn as much as I can about the offense. Have been to Purdue and Northwestern. (we know how to run the ball in Wisconsin but must look else where for other stuff.)
Have been very impressed with this site so far. Love to talk football.

My name is Mike Taake I have been a head coach for 27 years in 5 different school districts around the Midwest. I have been coaching at Mauston WI the past 17 years. We run the Wing T with the Jet and Rocket series. On defense we play a flex 52. Our school's enrollment at the H.S. is around 600. We host a Wing T clinic every March. The website for our clinic is www.geocities.com/maustonfootball. This is a great site. Thanks to all that keep it running. Taake Care Mike

Hi. I joined the site last year and have been taking in all the wonderful information available. It is educational and lots of fun to see everyone participate. Thanks for creating and maintaining the site. My donation to keep it going is forthcoming.
I played OL in HS and at a Jr. college in VA a long time ago. Wasn't the best or biggest player, but I love the game. For the past several years, I have been OL coach for one of the youth leagues in Raleigh, NC. Our boys actually won the Division II championship in Orlando in December which was great fun. I enjoy teaching and developing the skills of kids and hope that some of what they are learning will serve as building blocks for their future roles in football, other sports, and in life. I have always felt that football helped prepare me for many of the events that have occurred in my life, both good and bad. I think everyone will agree that our youth are the future.
Thanks for all the information (links, attachments, verbage) that is posted and available free to guys like me.
Best regards to all.

OC in Oklahoma
5th year as a coach.
Played OG and NG in HS, DE in college. Coaching experience is with OL/DL, LBer's, and at one point prety much every offensive position.
Love the DW!
I used to be a spread guy, then I coached OL at a wing t school and it grew on me till I saw the DW. (and recieved a 57-7 beating from a former I form team that we beat badly the previous season)
I cut my teeth on Coach Wyatt's system, but I've deversified a little since then. I tend to run a lot of formations, some single wing, and even a few "spread gun" looks. (They are 4 wide but we keep the slot guys close enough to function as WB's, and we keep our small splits)
Thanks to Outlawz (ouch I did it...but putting that z on there is painfull!) I'm getting a chance to work with adult athletes for the first time...should be interesting.
