How many of you will be starting practice Monday? Do we have any who will start at Midnight? SlipScreen?
Good luck to all of you.
We are starting brand new at a new location for us. It is always exciting to try to build a program back.
Hope all of you have everything ready to go.

i feel sorry for all the new coaches at our district that have to go to new teacher inservice and then go to practice

Yes we also start Monday, we are a year around school in Arizona, we have been in school for a week already. Schools that are on a "regular" schedule also start practice this week, they may take their kids up north to where temperatures are somewhat lower. It just depends, we have our scrimmage in 3 weeks! Coming into a new conference, being an unknown, nobody is expecting much from us. I think we have the capabilities to suprise some people, depnds on some of our upperclassmen, they will hold it together, or we will not have the season that I am expecting. We are starting a lot of soph's. Our qb,fb,tb,rg are seniors on offense, everybody else is a soph, maybe 2 juniors. On d, 5 seniors start, all but our qb goes both ways from that senior group, lots of inexperience, but we are excited...

our entire offensive staff is new. all varsity coaches on the offensive side (plus some freshmen guys) are supposed to go to new teacher inservice starting next week. that is when we start practice as well. the hc was able to work out a deal where we only have to go to the things specific to this district and this high school. i won't miss any workouts as they have juggled those things to the afternoon.
