OK, I need to find the best way to have football make more money for me. What are some things you guys do to make a little side cash in the sport?
1. Camps 2. Clinics 3. Sell original material
Just looking for some ideas. I just think there has to be a way to make money at what I know best.

Must remember that when you get into coaching/teaching its not about the money is about doing what you love.

My college coach told a group of us who were in his theory of coaching football class. "If you want to make money in your life your already heading in the wrong direction."
Some things I have done to help pay the bills to be a coach:
work summer football camps (pay is ok, but usually had to spend $$$ to get to the location of the camp)
Managed a 16 field softball complex in the summer time. Fun job, sucked always trying to find good help, ended up doing a lot of the work myself.
Worked at a golf course. Hours were not a lot of fun, had to be to work at 5:00 AM, but the benifits were great. Free Golf!
Worked construction: Only recommend if you really need the money. We work pretty hard during the school year to go out and sweat your butt off for the summer pounding nails.

I have accepted the fact that I'm not going to get rich coaching high school football but bills still need to get paid. I have done all the part time jobs in the world. However, I love football and would like to make it more profitable for me.

why not have a kid (that slappy that is always hurt) film you while you go through drills or a practice.
Edit the film, record a voice over or whatever, and sell your tapes of how YOU run stuff. I'm sure someone will pay for it. Afterall, you've got a picture of Lou Holtz in your avatar!
One thing about making money - what service can you provide that people would pay for?
WHY should they pay you?
The Summer Camp thing is a great idea. I know a coach that does this, M-F - 2 hours a day around 1:00 - 3:00pm you might get a dozen or so players and just work individual drills with those guys one-on-one. A local camp that they'd get at like one of those "O & D" camps works wonders. Maybe $50-75 a kid for two or three weeks in the Summer. Parents would love it, getting their kids out (of their hair) and get them a jump on the Fall season.
