Whip? Can I see some film from you?
We are a wingt runnin team that has scored 40+ points a game the last 6 seasons.
We are running some midline with the wingt with a lot of success...
Would you like to exchange film?
Let me know....

I have to say that after coaching in an I formation offense for 10 years then switching over to the wing-t this year with a diffrent school I was a bit skeptical. Well I now think the wing-t is a great offense. Many people talk about how its all angle blocking and small linemen. Well we took the same rules/scheme that were coached in an I formation O and pluged them right into the wing-t. We combo, double team, pass set in our offense and have had great success with it. Took a team that was 1-28 the last three years to 6-4 this year with 3 losses by 5 points total, had the 8th best rushing total in the state regardless of class and the number one rated QB in the district. So it has been very good to us. I personally believe that you need to taylor any O you run to your personnel. It does take a lot of time to learn so I think many people are turned off by how intricate the offense can be. If you plan on running it make sure you talk to as many wing-t coaches as you can and get their input.

I hear that this one school in WesternKY has a HC named Edwards and he likes that Wang-Tee. Rocket, Jet and Buck, with the midline.

The Wing T or it's blocking schemes are used by almost every high school football team in America. With the advent of the Jet, some Wing T teams are even using outside zone blocking schemes. IMO, it's the most versatile offense around.
Here in San Diego I've seen some pretty good football players in the Wing T offense:
Alex Smith and Reggie Bush - same team
Ricky Williams
Chad Hutchinson
just to name a few.
