Does anyone have a design they do for a shirt for offensive lineman glorifying being a hog? We want a "Hog of the Week" shirt or something like that and need some ideas. I was thinking about creating a shirt for all of the offensive linemen and then giving out our Hog of the Week and putting the week on the back if they win hog of the week (take it in for them and get whatever week screen printed on it if they were hog of the week.

No design, but the best OL slogan for my money is- Backs carry the ball, Linemen carry the team.

We call ourselves the Pancake Brigade. The boys came up with it and didn't want any other coaches staff to have them.

We had a lineman camp last year. We put "We Lead the Way" on the back. It is is the Army Ranger motto but I think it fits.

Saw a really good RB this week continually go back after a solid run and high five or slap the helmut of the Oline man responsible for the block. They loved the attention and it was a classy thing to do. I think the kid was doing it on his own but I am going to make it policy for our backs starting Monday.
Kids love shirts too though. One Halloween I had a pocket full of candy and threw one to any Oline man who made a great block or any great play for that matter. It was pretty funny how bad they all wanted a piece and pretty soon guys were making plays all over the place. Like Pavlov dogs.
Another thing we do is let them call a play in Team period if they have made a great block. They usually call a run to their side.It certainly is important to create pride amongst this group cause not a lot of glory and a lot of guys don't want to play there.

We try to give a "Big Dawg" shirt every week to our best performing linemen. Sometimes they all get one. Usually 1-2 guys. Sometimes none. Front says Warrior Football. Back says Big Dawg. We also give out Big Hit t's and Hustle t's.

When I was in high school the best OL was named "dominator". Could use that.

If possible, have their nicknames on the shirt! We had a short, strong, bulky guy we named "The tank from *home city*" and then when one guy finally beat him, that guy got named the "anti-tank" They love it!

Our O-line has the team logo on the front of the t-shirt and on the back it says WE ARE THE GUTS IN EVERONE'S GLORY!

#ZBF Zone Blocking Fundamentals The OL does a daily INDY segment the coaches call ZBF
We have heard the kids talking in the hallways and locker room and say "Come on man ZBF, how do you not know who to block or when to combo?"
It has been awesome!
