My plan is to watch every bowl game. I might get sidetracked by the wife and family over and going out to eat. etc....
But I get sick and tired of listening to tv people complain about there being too many bowl games
hey, the more football the better

I am going to watch a few of them. texas tech vs alabama is my favorite. wi vs auburn.
toledo vs utep.
I am sorry, I have better things to do then want the new orleans bowl.

watching the so called "lesser teams" is a good idea in my mind
as they are teams that don't have huge talent advantages like UT etc. do and have to find ways to win with what they have
this is something that a lot of HS coaches have to deal with all the time
so,, the more football the better

The question is, can the UCLA vs Northwestern make the scoreboard look like an NBA score.

Props to ASU...they played some tough football and gave MSU hell tonight! That ASU QB was a heck of a good football player, He had some really talented receivers make some HUGE catches downfield.
How about both teams going Power and offset I in the second half? Looked like a Bears-Packers game from 15 years ago... ;D

i give myself (and our offensive staff) assignments watching bowl games each year. find trick plays. find variations on our themes. find plays that compliment what we do. look at procedures (packaging, formationing, motioning, no-huddle, etc.). SPECIAL TEAMS!!!!
when we get back together after the break we discuss what we've observed and jotted down. we may actually dial up the school or make a visit to their place (or, at the very least, travel to a clinic where one of them is speaking). this year i'm going to dvr those bowl games or teams that are intriguing to me and our style of play. hope to record them or burn them onto dvds.

Watched the GMAC Bowl and New Orleans, don't know what the hell I'm supposed to do tonight. BYU v Cal and Colorado St. v Navy, that's why I bought TiVo, I guess.

Did anyone see Toledo use this formation last night?
```S``````T`G`C`G`T`E ```````````````Q```````E'E
```````````````H
They lined up like this to run an outside zone and UTEP was completely outflanked. Is this something common and UTEP just blew it, or is this something teams just don't usually see?

they ran an inside zone concept that looked at first like counter gh, but the nasty slot guy just blocked back on the bsde like inside zone, and they ripped it up in there
looks like BYU has gone Texas Tech, the ol coach from TEch went back there as OC i think.
kinda fun to watch
I am really looking forward to navy tonight though

So far I have seen at least a quarter of each bowl game. Watching Navy is always a pleasure.

I wonder if Navy's coach has ever experimented with adding the gun triple like DeMeo's stuff? No doubt the option can be explosive.

watching the game also made me think about the simplicity and positive points of getting in few formations
1. kills some tendencies that are formation driven 2. easy to see what they are trying to do against it 3. motion can still get you mismatches
