bill knows his stuff. especially on defense and sp. teams.
he is very detailed. if you want to run the inside zone from grade school on up to college he is your guy.
his tapes can be a bit long though. usually 90minutes and several teams in a series.
he does get some good speakers though.

I have been a member for 3 years and will continue again this year. His tapes are all clinic lectures from the clinic he puts on in San Deigo. He asks his speakers to be very detailed and gives them more time than any other clinic out there to speak. He has many clinic tapes that he has done for the University of Miami, Auburn, UCLA, Alanta Falcons, Dallas Cowboys just to name a few. He is very good and so are the tapes. He has many tapes from both HS, College, and Pro coaches. I have our booster club pay for my membership and I use the schools mail to send tapes back. I runs me about $7 for him to ship the tapes to me. I have a huge library of tapes now in which many have helped me with technique and drills I can use in practice that are very good.

Just checked out the website. Lots of good topics, but the organization of the tapes/topics needs a bit of work. It would also be great if he put dates on each lecture. Sounds like you may only get 20 tapes to copy a year??? Very interesting.... Anyone else have a membership? www.billwilliamsfcpga.com/

The FCPGA is an great association. It is well worth anyone's time to join as you get to pick exactly what you want to watch. You can get more then 20 tapes a year. As it all depenmds on how quickly you send them back. I normally copy them, and then mail them back right away. I have been a member since December of 1999 until August 2002,and then just joined again this April. I have gotten well over twenty tapes a year,as I normally copy them, and then mail them back ASAP.It normally takes him 5-7 days to send you tapes dependng on where you live back to you after you send tapes back. I have a total of 26 tapes with six topics on each tape which is about 156 clinic tapes which is well over twenty tapes a year, and I have always just done a basic membership. However like Airman has said you can do a double membership where you get four tapes. This is also more exspensive in terms of money and membership. So if your asking if this is a worth while investment the answer is absolutely. As far as when the clinics where held.I am not sure, you just need to know when the speakers where at the school listed.

Are they all tapes that he has, or are they available on DVD?
I'm in the UK, and don't have the equipment required to make copies of NTSC format into PAL. Can do it with DVDs on the computer though (i'm told, I have someone else do it for me!)
If it were tapes, combined with the time delay in shipping it's not worth my while.

It's worth every cent.
I've been a member for somewhere around fifteen years. I've always felt that it was worth the money. I figure the cost of a year's membership is less than the cost of traveling to a clinic, paying for a clinic and paying for the hotel room and meals.
As for the video tapes, I get my requested tapes sent to me within a couple of days of sending back the previously requested tapes. The quicker I send back the tapes, the quicker I get the next set of tapes.
Bill Knows his stuff. He travels around the country giving inservices to professional, college and high school teams. When he is finished with his inservice, he will remain with the pro or college staff and ask THEM questions about what THEY are doing and HOW they are doing it. He is a great clearinghouse for football knowledge.
I once had a head coach bring Bill in to speak to us about the inside zone. Bill spoke to us for NINE HOURS on the inside zone...ONE PLAY ! He covered everything from philosophy to scheme to off season to in season to a complete teaching progression for each position. He provided information on troubleshooting the play and much, much more. He video taped the inservice so as to add to his lending library of videos. We taped the inservice for our own reference.
I make it a point to attend his clinic every year. This year he has three day clinics on the run game, special teams and tackling...three days on tackling !
