Holmgren was MIA after the game because he was talking to the officials.........not because he was disrespecting Bill Cowher.
The clock management was horrible, and Holmgren must take the blame for it, however, part of the problem was that twice Hasselbeck didn't call the play that was sent in, but went through a LONG process of audibilizing.

Not as much as I was appalled by the refs. Please get over this crap. I beg you. The officials were not nearly as bad as these idiot media guys would like you to believe. I just read a recent article that included the holding call on the Stevens TD. It's been almost an entire day and the moron still hasn't seen the angle where the O-linemen has his arm wrapped around the DE's throat. Give me a break. These guys are supposed to be professional journalists. Bunch of bums. |

Here's an article on the handshake. Just a mix-up. No malice. I noticed on TV that Cower was whisked to the 25 yard line by "league handlers". msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/5315936A good example that we should be slower to question someones character or motives. Me included . |
