I'm applying for some head openings. Do any of you have any materials that you give the admin interviewing you. Hand outs. Year round program management. I know Jerry Campbell put out an outstanding packet but I lost it. Does anybody have it. Send me an email

I tried to get the Coach Campbell packet but could not get a password for his site.
I would also like a copy of the packet if anyone could provide it.

just goto google and type in the name of the packet. There is an electronic bookstore that has it, i forget the name of it, but i downloaded the book a few weeks ago. It was like 15 bucks

Check the AFCA archives, they have lots of good articles about running a good program by several great coaches.

Here are some interview questions I was asked tonight on a phone interview...
1) tell us about yourself, accomplishments etc.
2)tell us about your coaching philosophy and how it relates to your leadership
3)what kind of staff will you put together, who will you bring?(asked me that one twice)
4) tell us about your program, inseason, off season, preseason
5)some seemingly informal questions relating to no teaching jobs available and my level of interest...would i move and take the job without a teachers spot?...some concern on their end that id leave lookign for a teaching spot?
6) did i have kids
7) what was my role in relation to kids and college?
8) what was my view on role modeling?
9) looking at your playbooks/manuals, is this what you do or do you evaluate your talent?
10) what is your day job (TEACHER...strange question...I assume they read my resume?)
11)what is the head coaches responsibility and role in teh community
12) do you think its important to attend boosters sponsored football banquets at the end of the season?
